Music and Me!

Hey there, everybody!

Happy Wednesday! I haven’t mentioned much about music this year so I thought I’d write this update for you all.

I have been developing new music ideas and stuff to hopefully develop a new full-length song at some stage. I am still learning my new music DAW programme that I got late last year.
With that said, I got a new inspiration today with finding an Advanced Wavetable Synthesizer called ‘Serum’. I want to work with more complex synth stuff and I found that one really good, it has a demo version that you can get to try it out, I’m pretty happy with it I must say.

At the beginning of this year I had a couple of sayings that I say to myself and one of them was ..’if I don’t make any new music for a while it is ok’, I can be ok with that. I know not everything can be bigger and better all the time, but those odd moments where I have something special that I have made such as some of my music and other stuff, I put them in a folder on my compy, that contains my most favourite works.

With getting older and stuff, I get confused a bit, and find it hard to do some stuff sometimes. I have a mental disability so that’s why.

With other things, I’m putting my health first before my creative work and spend less time on social media and the computer overall. I’m looking for a happy medium. So I am trying to look at giving myself time to get out and about when I can and enjoy other stuff, whatever that maybe.

In conclusion, thanks to everybody that is a part of my world in some way. Thanks to all my wonderful fans, friends, and family, and my team, you’re all wonderful special people to me, thank-you! Have a great week everybody and I’ll leave you with this screengrab of the behind the scenes workings of a demo song that I’m working on. I dropped my guitars down 2 whole steps from Drop C, to what I think is Drop A tuning, it’s a bit different for me but they sound really good hehe.
Have a great tail end of your week, and all the best, ta, Alisha.

My demo song.
